SONOCOIN TO UPDATE EXPLORER & DEVELOP CROSS-CHAIN BRIDGES FOR DEX TRADING

Geneva, Switzerland; New York, New York, USA; June 7, 2022 — As SonoCoin was built before the introduction of multiple tokens, the Explorer focused on providing information relating to the SonoCoin’s native coin, SONO. As such, it is difficult for users to easily check information other than SONO assets and their transactions. The newest rendition of the Explorer will be designed to solve these issues, and when updated will provide easy access to various information of the different tokens living on the SonoCoin network.

The next update to the SonoCoin Explorer will be focused on improvement in user experience, and the useability. We expect it to be released by end of June 2022.

Future plans

Connecting blockchains is essential as trading one digital asset for another takes considerable fees and many cumbersome hoops to jump through. In short, interoperability is one of the most significant factors in pushing digital assets and blockchains from tech enthusiasts to everyday users.

One way that helps solve this issue is what is known as a blockchain, crypto, or digital asset bridge. These digital asset bridges, also known as cross-chain bridges, connect two blockchains. The linking of two blockchains allows users to send digital assets from one chain to the other quickly and easily.

This ambitious project aims to create a cross-chain bridge for SonoCoin that makes trading and transferring digital assets from one chain to another as simple as possible. Not only will this apply to holders of SONO, but the broader digital asset space. Initially, the bridge will likely start as SONO-to-ERC20. However, we expect to develop much more, supporting other major chains.

We expect wider usage of SonoCoin with the new, user-friendly update to the Explorer and release of the cross chain bridges adding momentum to the current pace of growth.
